Registration to SBAC-PAD 2023 gives the registrants access to all SBAC-PAD sessions, co-located events, and coffee breaks on all four days. All registrants will have access to an electronic version of SBAC-PAD 2023 proceedings published by IEEE.
Please read carefully all the following instructions before proceeding with the registration process:
Author registration: each accepted paper must have at least one paid registration at professional or student categories before the author registration deadline (September 4th) to be included in the Conference Proceedings and IEEE Xplore.
Paper fee: there is a paper fee of BRL 800,00 for each registered paper, independently on the registration category (student or professional).
IEEE or SBC membership fee discount: a discounted member fee applies to members of IEEE or SBC. When registering, you will be asked for your member number.
Students: undergraduate and graduate students can also register at discount prices. When registering, you will be asked to upload a student ID or other documentation that verifies your student status.
Conference Dinner: Registration to SBAC-PAD (student, professional) gives the registrants access to the Cocktail on October, 17th and to the Conferece dinner on October, 19th. Registrations with discount to brazilians do not give access to the conference dinner. In this case, it must be purchased separately at the registration desk.
Grants to Brazilian Research Institutions’ Members: Há um número limitado de inscrições com preço reduzido para membros de instituições de pesquisa brasileiras. Tais inscrições não dão direito ao jantar da conferência. No momento da inscrição, escolha a opção apropriada e faça o upload do comprovante de vínculo a uma instituição de pesquisa brasileira para validar sua inscrição. As inscrições só serão efetivadas após o envio do documento comprobatório. Os valores para as inscrições com preços reduzidos podem ser vistos aqui, a taxa de publicação para brasileiros é de R$ 400,00.
No-show policy: in case a paper is not presented at the conference, it shall be deemed a “no-show.” No-shows will be removed from post-conference distribution and will not be available on IEEE Xplore® or other public-access IEEE forums.
Cancelation policy: registrations can be canceled up to October 6th. In this case, 50% of the registration fee will be returned.
Payment: Payments made by ticket and debit card end on 11/10/2023. Payments made by credit card, notes of commitment (nota de empenho), or billing can be done until the event's last day. During the event, it is possible to pay by cash.
