A valid passport is required to travel to Brazil. We recommend applying for one as soon as possible if you do not have it yet, as passports often take a while to be processed.

This page lists the countries whose citizens do not need a visa to attend SBAC-PAD. For information about visa application requirements, contact your travel agent and/or a local Brazilian Consulate office. In case an invitation letter is needed, please register for the conference and follow the instructions below.

 Invitation letters

You can send requests for invitation letters to sbacpad2009@gmail.com. Please state whether you are a committee member, a speaker/presenter, or simply would like to attend the conference. We will process your request and send a scanned version of your letter by email. If the Brazilian Embassy/Consulate in your area requires the original, please state your postal mail address as well.

Letters will only be provided after registration and payment confirmation. The letters will state the conference title, dates, and location; the capacity in which the requester will be participating in the conference; and that the requester has paid the registration fee.
