Registration to SBAC-PAD 2019 gives the registrants access to all SBAC-PAD sessions, co-located events, coffee breaks, and lunch on all four days. All registrants will have access to an electronic version of SBAC-PAD 2019 proceedings published by IEEE.
Please read carefully all the following instructions before proceeding with the registration process:
Conference Dinner: Registration to SBAC-PAD (student, professional) gives the registrants access to the Cocktail on October, 15th and to the Conferece dinner on October, 17th. Registrations with discount to brazilians do not give access to the conference dinner. In this case, it must be purchased separately at the event restaurant.
Author registration: each accepted paper must have at least one paid registration at professional or student categories before the author registration deadline (September 23th) to be included in the Conference Proceedings and IEEE Xplore.
Paper fee: there is a paper fee of US$ 200.00. Students authors shouldpay the paper fee for each paper. Professional authors should pay the paper fee after the first paper.
IEEE or SBC membership fee discount: a discounted member fee applies to members of IEEE or SBC. When registering, you will be asked for your member number.
Students: undergraduate and graduate students can also register at discount prices. When registering, you will be asked to upload a student ID or other documentation that verifies your student status.
Limited Grants to Brazilian Research Institutions’ Members: Há um número limitado de inscrições com preço reduzido para membros de instituições de pesquisa brasileiras. Tais inscrições não dão direito aos almoços e ao jantar da conferência. No momento da inscrição, escolha a opção apropriada e faça o upload do comprovante de vínculo a uma instituição de pesquisa brasileira para validar sua inscrição. As inscrições só serão efetivadas após o envio do documento comprobatório. Os valores para as inscrições com preços reduzidos podem ser vistos aqui, a taxa de publicação para brasileiros é de R$ 300,00.
Bank slips ans debit cards payments end on October, 10th. Credit card, commitment notes and billing payments will be open until the last day of the event.
Cancellation policy: a refund of 70% of the amount paid for registration in the event can be made until October, 8th. After this date there will be no refund of any amount paid. The policy applies to both unsubscribing and cancellation of any additional activity. To request cancellation, send the request to invoicing@sbc.org.br.
No-show policy: in case a paper is not presented at the conference, it shall be deemed a “no-show.” No-shows will be removed from post-conference distribution and will not be available on IEEE Xplore® or other public-access IEEE forums.
