Call for Workshops

General Information
An important initiative for enhancing the scope and fulfill the
expectations of the SBAC-PAD participants is the existence of
workshops associated with the event. The workshops may focus on
any of the topics of interest of SBAC-PAD.
Workshops will have a duration of either half or full day. All participants
must be registered to SBAC-PAD. The local organization is responsible for
the meeting rooms and presentation support. Workshop organizers will be
responsible for publishing eletronic proceedings in a Web page, which
must provide all accepted papers and presentations in PDF. Workshop
promoters are also responsible for other
initiatives, such as keynote speakers and panelists. The workshops
will be held in Ouro Preto, MG, Brazil. The average capacity of the meeting
rooms is 100 people.
Submission
The proposals may be written in Portuguese or English and must be sent by e-mail
and will be acknowledged also by e-mail. The submission message must have
the following format:
Subject: SBAC-PAD Workshop Submission
Message Body: link to the proposal Web page
Signature: Workshop organizers
There is no format for the proposal Web page, but we recommend that
it provides the following information:
a) Name of the proposed workshop
b) Workshop focus and goals, justifying the workshop relevance
c) Workshop history, if not the first edition
d) Topics of interest
e) Workshop program, including its duration
f) Profile and expected number of attendees
g) Submission procedures
h) Program committee
i) Logistics necessary
j) Workshop coordinator identification and contact information
k) Link for his/her CV, preferably Lattes
