Travel

A valid passport is required to travel to Brazil. We recommend applying for one as soon as possible if you do not have it yet, as passports often take a while to be processed.

Please visit the Brazilian Tourism Office for a list of countries whose citizens need a visa. For further information about visa application requirements, contact your travel agent and/or a local Brazilian Consulate office. For U.S. and Canadian citizens a visa is required, please visit the Brazilian Embassy website in Washington. For an invitation letter for visa purpose, please register with the conference and perform the following instructions.

VISA Request

Please fill out the form below in order to get your Visa recommendation letter. Remember that you must register prior to request the letter. The Visa recommendation letter will only be issued to speakers or attendees who have paid their registration fee.

We will process your request and send a scanned version of your letter by email. If the Brazilian Embassy/Consulate in your area requires the original, please fill out your mail address. Leave it blank otherwise.

Visa letters will state only the following facts:

• Conference title, dates and location.
• That the requester has paid the required registration fee in full.
• If they are a committee member, speaker or presenter.
